Real Madrid are considering making a bid for Manchester City star Raheem Sterling according to reports.
The England international has been one of City’s best players this season scoring 14 goals in the league alone already.
And his good form has reportedly caught the eye of Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane who is plotting a move for the attacker in the summer.
Reports in Spanish outlet Don Balon say Zidane wants Sterling as a replacement for Gareth Bale who has been linked with making a move to Manchester United in the summer window.
While Madrid are keen on Sterling a bid isn’t expected in this transfer window but the La Liga side could test City’s resolve in the summer.
In other news City are being liked with Nice midfielder Jean Michaël Seri.
The Guardian report the 26-year-old is now poised to join Guardiola’s side but City will face competition from United.
Seri was linked with Arsenal and Barcelona in the summer but a deal to move to the La Liga side fell through at the last minute.
The Guardian claim Seri can fit the bill at the Etihad as Guardiola looks for a long term replacement for Fernandinho and Yaya Toure.
Nice are expected to ask for around £35million but City will face competition from United who are ready to rival for the midfielder’s signature.
