Eden Hazard to Man City: Chelsea make world-record transfer decision

CHELSEA have made a major decision over the future of Eden Hazard.

The Belgium international is wanted by both Premier League leaders Manchester City and La Liga champions Real Madrid.

However, reports surfaced over the weekend that City were preparing to launch a world-record bid for the winger.

Neymar is currently the most expensive footballer of all time as he moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for £198million in the summer.

It was suggested City would be willing to spend of £200m to tempt Hazard to the Etihad Stadium, despite already running away with the league title.

But Antonio Conte’s side are adamant that they will not sell their star player to a Premier League rival, according to the Telegraph.

No matter what the fee is, the Blues are fully against strengthening their domestic rivals.

Instead, Conte is hoping to extend Hazard’s stay at Stamford Bridge with a bumper £300,000-a-week deal.

But with the current uncertainty over their manager’s position, Hazard is reluctant to put pen to paper just yet.
