Meet The World’s Richest Woman In 2018 (pic)

Thursday is international women’s day, and the world’s top three richest women are among the 32 wealthiest in the world.

According to the Forbes billionaires list, the world’s richest woman is Alice Walton, daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton.

The Walmart heiress, who has taken the top spot in the past, is worth $46 billion.

Walton re-took the number one spot after L’Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt passed away in September.

Her daughter, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, is now the world’s second richest woman, worth $42.2 billion.

The world’s third richest woman is German heiress Susanne Klatten, worth $25 billion.

Alice Louise Walton (born October 7, 1949) is an American heiress to the fortune of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. She is the daughter of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton and Helen Walton.

She’s the sister of S. Robson Walton, Jim Walton and the late John T. Walton. As of March 2018, Walton had a net worth of $41.5 billion, making her the wealthiest woman in the world with Françoise Bettencourt Meyers and the 18th-richest person in the world.

In September 2016, she was reported to own over US$11 billion in Walmart shares.
