Sad! See Corpses Of Villagers Killed This Morning By Gunmen In Badarawa Shinkafi Village, Zamfara (pics)

Report filtering in from Badarawa town in Shinkafi Local Government Area of ​​Zamfara State, has it that at least 11 people have been killed after unknown gunmen stormed their community this morning by 9.30 am.

It was gathered that the attackers immediately opened fire on the villagers and killed at least 11 people, with about 23 persons injured.

A local resident disclosed that some of the victims have been taken to hospitals in the local government and Gusau, the capital of the state.

Meanwhile, Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari recently said that more people were killed in his state than in Benue, Taraba and Plateau States.

He called on his colleagues in the three states not to view the situation as ethnic or religious conflicts, but pure criminality.

Speaking at a town hall meeting on the federal government’s measures to curb killings, Yari said: “The number of people killed in Zamfara state outnumbered those killed in the three states combined and those responsible for the killings are somewhat professing the same religion with those being killed.”
