Today (Thursday 13th September 2018) the first black Secretary General from sub Sahara, Kofi Annan is laid to rest in Ghana. While many have gathered in Accra to say their final farewells, millions more were there in spirit, grieving the loss of a remarkable leader and celebrating a life well lived. Many watched the live coverage of the burial.
The world stood still to honor one of the few blacks that make thismother earth a better place. He died at the age of 80 in Switzerland.
