Kemi Adeosun Sneaks Out Of Nigeria To Avoid Prosecution Amidst Certificate Scandal

Former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, who resigned her appointment on Friday, left the country yesterday Saturday for the United Kingdom, we gathered

The erstwhile minister resigned following allegation of a forged NYSC certificate. Her resignation was accepted by President Muhammadu Buhari, who has approved that the Minister of State Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, should oversee the Ministry of Finance.

It was gathered that she left the country via British Airways yesterday.

The British Airways aircraft that she took according to sources at the airport left the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport at exactly 8.05am on Saturday

It’s not immediately clear where she may have travelled to but with a BA flight, her immediate destination will be London before transiting to any other destination.

According to Premium Times, when her Nigerian line was called several times Saturday night, it rang through each time in the Europe internal phone ringing effect.

It also quoted that Telecoms experts who also dialled her number at its instance yesterday evening said the telephone certainly did not ring in Nigeria.
