The leader of Independent People’s Of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu came out that the real President Buhari is dead and we are being ruled by his look alike from Sudan. He claimed the real Buhari died the last time he went to London for medical check up. He claimed the man in charge is one Jubril from South Sudan. This sounds ridiculours but his assertion has refused to go away.

The Fulanis have specific features that are common to them, like they have broad faces, slim & tall in most cases. Kanu may not be far from the truth as recent events suggest.

History has shown some nations of the world have used this concept of look alikes to replace a dead leader to maintain state security and balance of power.

Since this rumor emanated, political pundits especially the opposition party have been watching events with prism of suspicion. The matter got to the head when Kanu restated it in faraway Israel.

The political tensions had been heightened as we are moving towards the Presidential and general elections in February 2019. Within the ruling party of APC, some aggrieved serving governors that lost out in the political game have been making some inflammatory statements of recent. These weighty statements have somehow given credence to the raging confusion about the identity of Mr President.

The controversial opposition politician, Femi Fani Kayode is not left out in this political bricbacks

These are some of the inflammatory statements credited to some of them in the media:

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has insisted that the person occupying the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock is not President Muhammadu Buhari.

Fani-Kayode said Nigerians would be shocked in 2019 when the true identity of the president would be uncovered.

He was reacting to the ongoing crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress, APC.

According to the ex-Minister;

“If APC provokes me again I will tell the whole world what we were cooking that got the house burnt”- Governor Amosun of Ogun state

“If I say what I know about APC Nigerians will burn down AsoRock within 24 hours”- Gov. Okorocha of Imo state

“There is something rotten in the APC that stinks worse than a dead body.

For example the true identity of the man in the Villa that claims to be Buhari will only be made known after he is defeated and steps down from power.

When that happens, Nigerians will be shocked to the marrow. In 2015, I warned about his fake certificate. Today I am warning about his fake identity.

Furthermore these pictures somehow attest to the propriety of these insinuations

First Picture was taken in Nov, 2015 when Saraki was submitting the confirmed ministerial list to Buhari.

The second was taken in 2016, when Buhari visited Zamfara. See how tall he is.

The last pix was taken this year. Suddenly Mr President becomes shorter than Saraki and the second picture.

Many Nigerians doubt the sincerity of their leaders when it comes to power play. The Yar’adua episode fuels this suspicion. The sad episode of late President Umaru Yar”adua from Katsina, the same state with the current occupant, Buhari, is still fresh in Nigerian’s memory.

Coupled with the fact of  the existence of cabal in the government of President Buhari, these people can go to any length to maintain their grip on power. Aisha Buhari, the wife of president Buhari raised alarm of these cabals holding her husband to ransom, frustrating the efforts of this government to fulfill the promises made to the electorates.

This episode is not exclusive to Nigeria.

Joseph Stalin of Communist party of the Soviet Union, ruled USSR from the mid 1920s until his death in 1953. Stalin was a revolutionary fighter who fought many wars. However he sustained injuries that made him to have health challenges. By the time he assumed the position of leadership, his health challenge made him unable to perform his responsibilities.

He used many look alikes or political decoy to represent him at state’s functions. In 2008, after many decades when Stalin has passed on, 88 year old Felix Dadaev publicly announced that he was Stalin’s political decoy, a role he was forced to keep secret for decades.

In his book he wrote, titled Variety Land, Dadaev revealed that he was one of four stand ins for Stalin at public events. Dadaev was in his twenties in 1943, but with addition of make up and the Soviet leader’s haircut and mustache, he became almost indistinguishable from the 60yr old Stalin.

In Nigeria, anything is possible with these bunch of power hungry politicians parading the corridors of power in Aso rock, Abuja

Nigerians be the judge!
