While Kim Kardashian made headlines for her look at the Met Gala, her husband Kanye West wasn’t the biggest fan. During a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Ye made it known he was having trouble with her outfits and photos being “too sexy.” The look she had in mind took eight months of preparation, and Yeezy being Yeezy left it to the last minute to let to tell her how he felt.
“Like the corset, underwear, all that vibe, I just feel like I just went through this transition of being rapper, and lookin’ at all these girls…I didn’t realize that that was affecting like my soul and my spirit,” Ye explained. He added that he felt uncomfortable about her showing off her body because he’s “someone that’s married and in love and the father of what’s about to be four kids.”
Kim wasn’t having it. “The night before you’re going to come in here and say you’re not into the corset look? You’re giving me really bad anxiety,” she responded. “I don’t need any more negative energy.”
Kanye,who said he recently converted to Christianity, continued, “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.”
In the clip from the show, Kim is shown getting visibly frustrated by what her husband has to say. “You built me up to be a sexy person and have confidence. Just because you’re on a journey and your transformation, doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you,” she said. Kanye just responded with an “okay” and left the room.
“That’s absolutely ridiculous,” Kim said after he left.
