Nigerian politicians are quick to make unsubstantiated statements against each other, mostly on corrupt related allegations just to hoodwink ordinary Nigerians. This is common when the politicians belong to opposition parties.
The current minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, of the ruling party, APC made a serious statement on national television that former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, a staunch PDP member stole N2bn meant for the repairs of Port Harcourt airport runway.
Amaechi insisted to provide documentary evidence, he’s yet to do so
In his defence, Kayode said the money was given to his predecessor in office, Professor Aborisade and not to him
