A reliable source who is very close to the deceased has this to say:

“I can confirm that Brother Rotimi is my senior brother’s friend. He died on Monday. He contacted Coronavirus at the 80th birthday party of the Nigerian high commissioner to the UK. The irresponsible Nigerian officials flouted UK rules about social distancing. Now they couldn’t provide the UK government with details of all attendees. A few are in ICU already sadly”.

May the soul of the deceased rest in perfect peace, Amen
