Buhari Sacks 5 Security Details & 37 Others Over Gunshot Fracas In Aso Rock (pics)

President Muhammadu Buhari has taken action over the crisis that engulfed Aso Villa as a result of the squabble between his wife, Aisha and his nephew and Assistant, Sabiu Yusuf, firing five of his security details and 37 other persons in Aso Villa.

Those fired by Buhari on Wednesday included his Chief Personal Security Officer, Chief Detail to President, ADC to the First Lady, Escort Commander, ADC National Defence Council, and 37 others from the villa.

According to Sahara Reporters, the President was deeply angered by the development and was determined to deal with as many people as possible, if found culpable in the act. The President’s anger was stemmed from the fact that he believed the presidency image has been dragged into the mud, hence he has to take punitive action to serve as deterrent.

Sahara Reporters gathered that the President was even more slighted after seeing Mamman Daura, Sabiu Yusuf and one of his closest confidants weeping as he made his way to his office. Seeing this, the president was seriously infuriated and then resolved to take a decisive step to nip the whole issue at the bud.

Daura was said to have informed Buhari that Aisha Security aides and some of the president’s were threatening him and Yusuf. It was this that prompted the President to immediately order that all persons involved in the alleged threat be removed.

This led to the arrest and eventual redeployment of the Aide-De-Camp to Mrs Buhari and other security details attached the president’s chamber.

As a result, the First Lady has vowed that she would retaliate in anyway possible for being embarrassed by Yusuf and other inside cabal. So, as it stands now, the bad blood among different power blocs in Aso Villa seems to have just begun.
