Beyoncé shutdown the internet with the release of her visual album titled Black is King. The album which is a celebration of black excellence featured African artistes like : Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Moonchild, Busiswaah and a host of many others.
One of the major highlights of the visual album was the African fashion that was incorporated in it.
Beyoncé looked so beautiful as she stunned in the popular Yoruba Asoebi outfit.

Jenn Nkiru is a Nigerian multi-talented artist and director. She was featured as the second unit director for Beyonce’s black is king.
Nkiru was born in the beautiful city of Peckham, South London.She attended the prestigious Howard University where she acquired an MFA in Arts and Filmmaking.
Nkiru directs artistic music videos and short films. Her first film she directed was En Vogue, which was captured by Bradford Young and Arthur Jafa was released. Nkiru is known to have directed music videos for notable and talented artistes like Kamasi Washington and Neneh Cherry.
