Former President Barack Obama gave a 19 minute speech at the just concluded Democratic National Convention where he took some shots at Donald Trump.
Obama seemingly evaluated how the President is handling his responsibilities. “I did hope, for the sake of our country, that Donald Trump might show some interest in taking the job seriously,”
Obama hopes Trump will come to feel the weight of the office and discover some reverence for the democracy that had been placed in his care. “But he never did.”
Thr 45th President of the United States also claimed that Trump isn’t able to grow into his position as Commander-in-Chief “because he can’t.”
However, Trump tuned in and he listened carefully to everything his predecessor had to say because took to Twitter to share a few thoughts about Obama’s remarks.
“HE SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN, AND GOT CAUGHT!” Trump wrote on his favorite social media site. “WHY DID HE REFUSE TO ENDORSE SLOW JOE UNTIL IT WAS ALL OVER, AND EVEN THEN WAS VERY LATE? WHY DID HE TRY TO GET HIM NOT TO RUN?”
