Ada Jesus Dies In Abuja Hospital Days After Odumeje Encounter (pics)

Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias Odumeje, inside his church.

A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake.

But, the eccentric cleric boldly pointed out that he would not forgive her, and instead, laid more curses, including saying she would die of her sickness, as she lay on the floor, with her family members pleading her case.

Rita Edochie, an actress, also entangled in the fake miracle story, the deceased was said to have alleged, also toed the line of the pastor, vowing not to forgive her for making a wrong accusation.

But, both were said to have recanted, with Edochie, first announcing publicly through another video that she had forgiven the comedienne and Odumeje, joining later, and even reportedly donating N1million to help her in battling her condition.

BBC Pidgen, quoted Harrison Gwamnishu, who led the group that took the deceased to hospital as saying she suffered a cardiac arrest on Tuesday night and was rushed to the intensive care unit where she was placed under close watch of the doctors.

The Instagram sensation, had in a video, had given a tip on her sickness, saying nobody caused it as she had been battling with her health challenges for almost a year, apparently to put paid to the speculation that her situation was due to a curse reportedly placed on her by the cleric.

She said: “Since December, my body had been swelling up especially my stomach and my face. I can’t walk because I don’t even have the strength to stand up. They told me at the hospital that I had a kidney problem and that if I had the money, they would take me to India to do kidney transplant.
