And that is round the country, north and south”.

“People swarm round him as bees do to honey. I have been round the country with the President. I have also been to several countries of the world with him. I have not seen any other Nigerian leader, past or present, with his kind of allure, pull, fascination, magnetism”.

It is curious he did not mention Sir Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa that were contemporaries of others he mentioned. Why he missed the names of these northern leaders while praising Buhari from the North speaks volume of his hypocrisy and deliberately not to hurt the northern establishment.

E be like say all the Femis in Buhari’s government ‘dey smoke’ some substance not Igbo or broda Femi is under the influence of money, owo kudi or ego in WAZOBIA language. Do you blame this former editor of a newspaper turned Presidential spokesman? He has not been exposed to this kind of influence, money or power before.

Let us in the face value accept that this particular Femi is “fegging” ganja but I know Wizkid & Burna boy dey smoke am too but dem bring home the Grammys to Naija.

Igbo no dey worry like this, I think both are guided by the alluring smell of crispy notes of Naira and dollars. Money and power intoxicate.

Femi Adesina and Femi Fani Kayode on my mind

Who is going to deliver Mr Femi Adesina from this self destructive journey. One day he would leave Aso rock and come back home as an ordinary Nigerian. I’m sure he will be haunted by these embarassing outbursts.
