‘I’d Love To Get Married Again’, Nollywood Actress Bukky Wright Says After 5 Failed Marriages
Veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has expressed her desire to remarry if she finds the right man.
The 58-year-old actress made this known during an interview with BBC Yoruba, where she opened up about her personal life, challenges abroad, and return to acting.
Bukky Wright said she prays for another chance at marriage but emphasised it’s not a must.
“On the issue of marriage, I’m still very much interested but that is if God has destined it. It is not a must. I am not saying other women should not try to get married because as for me, I am still interested in getting married,” she said.
“In fact, to show how much I am interested, when I went to Al Kaaba I told God and I know he is a God that answers prayers.”
Bukky was previously married to Gboyega Amu, who is the father of her two sons.
Shortly after separating from Amu, due to what she termed irreconcilable differences, she married fellow actor and one time NNPC top shot and current member of the House of Representatives, Rotimi Makinde.
Her third husband was Femi Davies, a society journalist who she wedded at the Akoko Resgistry in Lagos.
She eventually moved on to her fourth husband, Bolaji Saheed, a music promoter.
The actress parted ways with Saheed and married a US-based business mogul, Adewale Onitiri, in 2010.
The union has since ended in divorce.
