Popular social media activist, Verydarkman, has paid a visit to Yelewata in Benue State, where over 200 people were reportedly killed in a brutal coordinated attack on Friday night.
It was earlier earlier reported that tragedy struck when suspected armed herders invaded Yelewata and Daudu communities in Guma Local Government Area, leaving a trail of death and destruction.
Among the victims were Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and five soldiers who were reportedly caught in the violence.
The heartbreaking incident has thrown the entire state into mourning, with survivors recounting horrific scenes of bloodshed and displacement.
