“When Everybody Left Me, My Wife Stayed”, Nollywood Actor Tito Harrison Recounts Battle With Health Challenges

After a protracted health fight, veteran Nollywood actor Tito Harrison has talked candidly about his financial and personal hardships.

Harrison talked about how an ulcer and liver disease led him to the edge of his life during an emotional interview on Biola Bayo’s Talk To B show.

He described the extent of his losses:

“I lost everything. I sold my house, sold my car. I was using the money to treat myself. Later, I couldn’t afford rent again. We moved into my wife’s mother’s house.”

Tears welled up in his eyes as he spoke about the unwavering support he received from his wife throughout the ordeal.

My wife was my greatest support,” he said. “When I was sick, down, and everyone had deserted me, she stood by me. If I had the opportunity to come back to this world, I would still marry her.”

Tito Harrison also addressed how people in the industry treated him during his difficult times.

“There was a time they interviewed someone and he said, ‘Tito Harrison is finished. He’s now living in his wife’s mother’s house.’ I have the publication. Even if it’s true, must you say it? Why not look for a way to support me instead?”
