Nollywood Actress, Omotunde Ogundimu Battles Cervical Cancer, Seeks Help (video)
Nollywood actress Omotunde Ogundimu has broken down in tears while appealing to Nigerians for financial assistance as she continues to battle cervical cancer, a condition she said she has been living with since 2024.
The actress made the emotional appeal during an interview with Biola Adebayo, which was later shared on her social media page.
Speaking about her health condition and the challenges she has faced during treatment, Ogundimu said the treatment had also caused painful side effects.
“I have been battling cervical cancer since 2024. The treatment I received also has side effects, such as my buttock hurting me when I go to urinate,” she said.
Overcome with emotion, the actress said she only wants to recover and live a peaceful life.
“I just want to be okay. I am exhausted. I want a peaceful life,” she said in tears.
Ogundimu, who revealed that she is struggling to raise funds for further treatment, pleaded with Nigerians to come to her aid.
“I plead with Nigerians to have mercy on me. I still need to be treated. Please have mercy on me. I don’t know who to call or where to get money from again. Please, just help me,” she added.
Reacting further, Biola Bayo dropped the account number where people can’t contribute money for actress Omotunde Ogundimu who is battling cancer.
No amount of money donated will be too small towards her treatment. Please let’s support her at this difficult time.”
